Like millions of other Americans concerned for the future of the country and thus following the presidential race, former close Clinton White House adviser Dick Morris watched the vice presidential debate Tuesday night.
In a short video posted to his own website, Morris declared the winner of the debate to be Republican Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, running mate to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The clear loser in the showdown was the running mate of Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, who was described as “supercilious” and “hucksterish.” Morris also stated that Kaine appeared “nervous,” “artificially combative” and “awkward.”
Morris ran through a litany of outright lies and out-of-context misquotes repeated ad nauseum by Kaine, such as constant references to Trump’s tax returns, his alleged claim that all Mexicans are rapists, or his supposed adoration of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
He also addressed what he viewed as potentially the biggest lie of the night, a smear by Kaine of the proposed immigration policy of Trump that would preclude entrance to the U.S. by individuals from certain countries with a known problem of radical Islamic extremism and terrorism.
“When Kaine said that it’s un-American and unconstitutional to discriminate against immigrants based on where they come from, that is the biggest load of B.S. I can hear,” proclaimed Morris.
“The basis of American immigration law, since it was passed in 1926, has been national origin quotas,” he continued. “To let a certain number in from each country based solely on describing where they came from.”
“And it is the current policy of the United States not to admit refugees or people that come from the three nations we recognize as terror sponsors at the moment,” he added. (Those three nations would be Iran, Sudan and Syria, as per the U.S. State Department, though Morris mentioned North Korea as one as well.)
“The idea of discrimination based on national origin is deeply embedded in our immigration laws,” Morris stated.
You can watch Morris’ entire breakdown of the debate right here:
Much to the dismay of revisionist history writing liberals, Dick Morris was absolutely right in that our nation has long used national origin as one basis for whether a prospective immigrant will be allowed in to the country or not.
Those nations change over time, and the reasons for prohibiting entry may vary. Exceptions are also made, of course, for truly innocent individuals when possible, but the fact remains that there is nothing un-American or unconstitutional about barring entry to the country for individuals from nations with which we have significant issues, such as those that are hot spots for radical Islamic terrorism.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter so that everyone can see former Clinton insider Dick Morris utterly shred Tim Kaine’s horrible debate performance while correcting his many lies.
