Liberal Hollywood celebrities are raising awareness about the tragedy unfolding in Aleppo. While posting such sentiments is a worthy effort to help the suffering, they forgot something.
Actor Mark Ruffalo seems to be spearheading the charge to attempt to tie the bloody atrocities in Aleppo, Syria to Donald Trump. Ruffalo has conveniently forgotten the Liberal messiah, Barack Obama, has been the leader of the free world for the past eight years — not Donald Trump.
Ruffalo tweeted a Huffington Post article: “As he Slaughters Civilians in Aleppo, Bashar Assad Prepares To Make Nice With Donald Trump.”
Somehow, in the B-List actor’s mind, the same Assad who walked all over Obama, is going to continued upon his horrific rampage against his own people because far-left website stated he is going to play nice with the next president.
The man who drew a red line in the sand in Syria, then whimpered away like a timid dog, is who the Liberal elites should be criticizing for the dire situation in Syria. Donald Trump has not yet even taken the oath of office, nothing going on in Aleppo is his fault.
“This is what he’s tweeting about while we watch a genocide unfold before our eyes. Don’t let him distract you,” tweeted Laura Benanti, who is reportedly an actress, who added a link to Trump’s Twitter account.
Oddly enough, the actress never made the same comparison between any tweet published by the White House during Assad’s reign of terror.
“Meanwhile, Trump’s buddies are slaughtering civilians in Aleppo as I type. The man we elected supports this. But coal miners, you guys,” a Liberal celeb Breitbart identifies as a comedian, tweeted.
They are all sore losers, the lot of them. The Liberal elites who live in a very pampered and sheltered world still believe what they say and think, matters to anyone over 20 who possesses a brain.
The inflated sense of self-importance by the celebrity class is perhaps best demonstrated in a Trump bashing tweet by James McVey. He is a pop singer – just in case you did not recognize his name, either. “This is a tragedy for humanity. Instead we report Kanye West meeting Trump. Why is it only after brexit and election that we start talking?” McVey tweeted.
Celebrities were talking before the election, Mr. McVey. You all talked, sang on a stage for Hillary, marched with the Socialist Bernie Sanders, and made videos blasting Donald Trump. We heard you, we just didn’t buy what you were saying or care about your opinions.
